Palmitos Park is the island’s most popular attraction for families and it offers a subtropical environment in which a huge selection of unique flora and fauna are on hand for viewing. Some 200 different species of birds live in the park.
At Sioux City visitors get the chance to take a step back to the days of the ‘Wild West’, when cowboys and Indians roamed the plains of America. Recreations of the environment feature mythical characters such as White Herb and famous cowboys such as Doc Holiday among others.
Holiday World has something for everyone. In addition to the funfair, the complex features bouncy castles and a ball pool for children, as well as several restaurants, an internet cafe, pubs, a night club, an amusement arcade, a spectacular Wellness Centre equipped with the latest health and well-being technology, and Punto Zero Bowling, a professional 16-lane bowling alley which has seen the emergence of several Spanish champions in different categories.
